It doesn't look like steam has a rollback feature either so I just stopped playing that game after I couldn't get a refund either. A few months ago City Skylines released a new terms-of-service that made basicly said 'we reserve the right to snoop in all your ♥♥♥♥' and bricked my existing install unless I updated to the version and accepted the new terms and conditions. The same cannot really be said for a steam game for that matter. And least you can choose your bank and choose your payment provider and not have to miss out on any experiences. As developers using the Garrys Mod platform, many of us rely on the features Chromium enables, but we have to tell our players to follow a cumbersome set.
